2 things before lunch that made my day

30 May

1. Doodles in a Hello Kitty notepad, given to me by a pretty half-Mexican kid in her pyjamas. I barely know her.

2. Reading a naughty post by a Twitter friend. Can’t stop laughing on that one.

Not that enthusiastic at all….

29 May

In a few days I will be leaving for Cebu, and it seems that I somehow forgot about it or that my consciousness is unaware of it. I know and I am fully aware that I will be going this week but… I dunno. The impulse to pack and write a checklist is not too inviting for me anymore. I hope not to cram on the basics on the things that I need to pack.

Weekend Tasks

21 May

One of those boring weekends where I don’t get to go anywhere. One of those boring weekends I hope for productivity. Every weekend I always have the same checklists of to-dos, but ended up doing nothing that was on the list.

For this particular weekend I intend to accomplish the following tasks:

1. catch up with blog backlogs and write a post about my 4-year anniversary in mountain climbing.
2. do ALL my laundry
3. CLEAN MY ROOM – yeah, it’s screaming like that
4. read the red book
5. sort out my computer files
6. arrange my work files in the office

That’s in no particular order, but judging from the capital letters used, you could go and figure what really needs to be done first.

Keeping my fingers crossed on a very fruitful weekend. Till then, I’m off to cross out some items on the list. Ciao!

The First Kiss

19 May

This is too cute not to be shared. ;D

Let it begin….

19 May

Another journey that I should have jumpstarted years ago. It will a long voyage for me but I am keeping in my mind what’s all of this for.

Focus. Concentrate. Contemplate.

Adorable Things: Cat Shirts

19 May

I am not a shirt-person. In fact I invest so little on my wardrobe and accessories. Soooo little. I buy clothes once in a blue moon, I buy shoes when one gets worn out. Currently, I have no running shoes, and a worn-out/maltreated trek shoes.

So when I found these babies, they are instant love! Hopefully the deal stays put forreber. I might purchase one if I get back my credit card available balance. Each shirt costs $15.00 (excluding shipping I presume).  Extra size 2XL gets an additional $3.00 cost.

You can get them at http://icanhascheezburger.com
